Not as effective as conventional methods of contraception. Not to replace necessary precautions against sexually transmitted diseases. Consider ectopic pregnancy if pregnancy occurs after treatment. Not recommended for patients at risk of ectopic pregnancy eg, history of salpingitis or ectopic pregnancy. May impair efficacy in patients w/ severe malabsorption syndromes eg, Crohn's disease. Repeated administration w/in a menstrual cycle is not advisable due to a possibility of cycle disturbance. Consider long-term methods of contraception in women who requested emergency contraception on repeated occasions. Galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Not recommended in patients w/ severe hepatic dysfunction. Women should be advised to make an appointment w/ doctor to start or adopt method of regular contraception. Rule out pregnancy if no w/drawal bleeding occurs during next tab-free period following use of treatment after regular hormonal contraception. Avoid lactation following administration of treatment. Not recommended in childn.
